You are invited to return to your Chevrolet dealership for all your service needs, both during and after the warranty period.
This page is a replication of the authorized Warranty booklet, which accompanies your new vehicle and gives the starting date and mileage of the warranty coverage. The booklet should remain with your vehicle when you sell it, so that future owners will have the information.
Vehicle operation and care
Considering the investment you have made in your new vehicle, we know you would like to operate and maintain it properly. We urge you, therefore, to follow the instructions contained in your owner’s manual and the maintenance schedule.
Maintenance records
It is also recommended that receipts covering the performance of regular maintenance be retained in the glove box literature envelope. Any vehicle problem caused by lack of maintenance as per the recommended schedule is not covered by your vehicle warranty. Therefore, receipts can be very important if a question arises as to whether a failure is caused by lack of maintenance or a defect in material or workmanship.
Owner satisfaction
Should you ever encounter a problem that is unresolved for some reason, during or after the warranty period of the vehicle, you may contact our Customer Communication Center, by calling +9714.332.5023.
What is covered:
The General Motors Overseas Distribution Corporation (GMODC), through authorized dealers in the Middle East Region, warrants each new passenger car or light-duty truck and chassis, hereafter called ’Vehicle’.
The warranty covers repairs/replacement to correct any malfunction occurring during the warranty period resulting from defects in material or workmanship. Adjustments (minor component modification not associated with replacement of parts) are covered during the warranty coverage. GM reserves the right to either repair or replace a component and to use a new or remanufactured component as appropriate.
The warranty period on the date the vehicle is first delivered or put in use as shown on the inside cover of the warranty booklet. It ends at the expiration of the coverage as shown below.
3years OR 60,000 Kms warranty on all Chevrolet vehicles. Repairs and adjustments (as detailed in the warranty section of your GM owner’s manual) that may occur during this period are made at no extra charge.
To obtain warranty repairs, take the vehicle to an authorized dealer within the warranty period and report the problem or concern you are facing. A reasonable time must be allowed for the dealer to perform necessary repairs.
Warranty repairs and adjustments (parts and/or labor) will be made at no charge.
This warranty is for General Motors vehicles registered and normally operated in the country in which this warranty is issued by an authorized dealer.
Tires are warranted by the tire manufacturer. Contact your authorized dealer for details.

In addition, coverage does not apply if the odometer has stopped or been altered. Proper use is described in the owner’s manual.
Damage caused by airborne fallout (chemicals, tree sap, etc.), stones, hail, earthquake, water or flood, windstorm, lightning, etc.
Failures due to lack of proper maintenance as described in the maintenance schedule; failure to follow maintenance schedule intervals; failure to use fuel, oil and lubricants recommended in the owner’s manual. Proof of proper maintenance is your responsibility. Keep all receipts and make them available if questions arise concerning maintenance.
Cleaning and polishing, lubricants, replacing filters, spark plugs and worn brake pads/shoes and clutch linings and performing other normal maintenance services that vehicles require. See maintenance schedule and owner’s manual for full details.
This warranty does not cover any economic loss including (without limitation) payment for the loss of time or pay, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use, vehicle rental expense, lodging bills, food, other travel costs, storage charges and other incidental or consequential loss or damage.
This is the only expressed warranty applicable to General Motors vehicles and neither distributors/dealers nor the General Motors Overseas Distribution Corporation (GMODC) authorize any person to create for them any other obligation or liability in connection with the vehicle. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose applicable to this vehicle is limited in duration to the duration of this written warranty. The performance of repairs and needed adjustments is the exclusive remedy under this written warranty or any implied warranty. GMODC shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from breach of this written warranty or any implied warranty.
General
Warranty coverage
The warranty coverage on your new vehicle is illustrated below. Please read the following pages for complete details.
Adjustments
The term “Adjustments”, as used in the warranty, refers to minor repairs not usually associated with the replacement of parts. Any adjustment (necessary to correct a defect) is covered during the WARRANTY PERIOD.
Maintenance and Repairs
Maintenance and repairs can be performed by any qualified service outlet; however, warranty repairs must be performed by an authorized dealer. Receipts covering the performance of regular maintenance should be retained in the event questions arise concerning maintenance. These receipts should be transferred to each subsequent owner of this vehicle. Authorized dealers reserve the right to deny warranty coverage if the vehicle has not been properly maintained.
Sheet metal, paint and other appearance items
Defects or damage to sheet metal, paint, trim or other appearance items may occur at the factory during assembly or while the vehicle is being shipped to the dealer. Normally, any factory defect or damage is detected and corrected at the factory during the inspection process. In addition, dealers are obligated to inspect each vehicle before delivery. They repair any uncorrected factory defects or damage and any transit damage which they detect before the vehicle is delivered to you.
Sheet metal, paint or appearance defects still present at the time the vehicle is delivered to you are covered by the warranty. However, for your protection, we suggest that if you do find any such defects, you advise your dealer without delay, as normal deterioration due to use and exposure is not covered by the warranty.
Warranty service
While any dealer authorized to sell your make of vehicle will perform warranty service, we recommend that you return to the dealer who sold you your vehicle because of their continued and personal interest in you. If you are touring or on move, visit any dealer authorized to sell your make of vehicle for warranty service. In the event your vehicle breaks down due to the failure of a warranted part, contact the nearest authorized dealer.
Warranty repair order
For your records, the servicing dealer will provide a copy of the warranty repair order or its equivalent listing all the warranty repairs performed.
Touring owner service in foreign countries
If you are touring in a foreign country and repairs are needed, it is suggested you make your vehicle available to an authorized dealer, preferably one that handles your GM make. For reimbursement consideration, where a repair is carried out at a repair shop other than a GM authorized dealer, you should provide your dealer, upon your return home, with a statement of circumstances forcing the repair at an outside repair shop, the original repair order and any paid receipt indicating the work performed and parts replaced.
Please note: Repairs made necessary by the use of improper or contaminated fuels are not covered under the warranty. See owner’s manual for additional information on fuel requirements when operating in foreign countries.
After warranty repairs
If you have a problem with your vehicle after warranty coverage has expired, we urge you to continue to return to your dealer for routine maintenance, problem diagnosis and repairs. Authorized dealers know your vehicle best and are interested in your continued satisfaction.
Production changes
GMODC and its dealers reserve the right to make changes in vehicles built and/or sold by them at any time without incurring any obligation to make the same or similar changes on vehicles previously built and/or sold by them.
